How to Care of Your Teeth
For best results, you should brush your teeth after each meal or at least twice a day, ideally once in the morning and once before bed:
-
Before bed: Brush your teeth last thing at night to remove food debris and plaque that has built up during the day.
-
In the morning: Brush your teeth before breakfast to prevent tooth erosion.
-
After meals: If you eat or drink something acidic, like citrus fruits, soda, or sports drinks, you should wait about 30 minutes before brushing your teeth. Brushing too soon after consuming these foods can brush acids into your teeth.
Brush your teeth for at least two minutes each time, and you can use a timer to help you keep track.
Floss your teeth twice a day to clean in between your teeth, where toothbrushes may not reach. For even better results, use a water flosser, as an additional measure.

Don't forget about your dental check ups! The golden standard of dental hygiene is to see your dentist or hygienist at least once every six months.
