Bone Grafting

Bone grafting is a procedure that is commonly performed with extraction of the tooth. After the extraction, the surrounding bone starts dissolving. To slow this process down or to prevent it, the special bone graft material (looks like powder) is placed inside of the tooth socket, closed with a special barrier and a suture.          Bone grafting will help preserving proper shape and bone volume for the future restorations (implants, bridges, dentures).
